How it Works

•  I am currently unable to take on any new clients as I am booking out so far in advance. Please check back in the future, if this is removed then I am able to take new clients. Thank you very much for your interest and support. 
•  If your dog is exhibiting any illness symptoms, please reschedule your appointment for the health and safety of all dogs. I do sanitize all tools and grooming areas between appointments and use a UV light sanitation every evening however, it is possible that your dog will be in contact with the previous or following dog. 

Appointment times

• All dogs must have current rabies vaccinations. Please take a photo of records and text to (775) 813-0902.
  
  
• I do not take separate nail clipping appointments, as it interferes with my one-on-one scheduled grooming appointments.  However, all services include nails trimmed and filed.
  
  
• Please know that I will not brush through matting and knots as it can be very painful for your dog. Any matting will be shaved underneath - it is the kindest and safest way to groom your dog. 
  
  
• My timing schedule is very delicate, I must stress that you do not come in the gates before your appointment time, even if 5 min early. Nor before your 20 min notice of completion. Entering the shop when not expected can result in injury. This is for every dog's safety and comfort, please adhere to your appointment times and pick-up notices.




• Please communicate via text. I will not be able to answer phone calls during the workday.




• By appointment only, no drop-bys or walk-ins at any time!




• If you're unable to get an appointment for your preferred date/time, please book an appointment regardless and text (775) 813-0902 in order to get on my cancellation list. 




• Pick-up times are not definite, as grooming is variable. I do give an estimate and always give a 20-minute text notification. This is for your dogs’ safety and comfort.




• The shop is small, so please be courteous of the space and limit guests. Please do not have more than two people at drop off and pick up.




• Please do not stay at the shop during your dog’s appointment. Again, this is for your dog’s comfort and safety.




• Please let me know of any allergies, injuries, or special needs.




• Keeping my appointments to one dog  at a time (two if same owner) is very important to me. I try very hard to keep PawSpa a safe and comfortable environment to groom your dog.

Services

A Bath & Tidy service is for those dogs that do not require an all-over haircut (like a labrador or husky, for example), or a service for your dog in between full grooming. This Service includes shampoo, conditioning, anal glands expressed, blow dry, ear cleaning, nails clipped and filed, brush out and de-shed, sanitary shave if needed, and clean up trim of face, feet, paw pads and tail.

A Full Groom service is everything that a bath & tidy includes, plus an all-over haircut. The haircut can be breed specific, or owner's specifications or combination, but always within the comfort of your dog and their current condition of their coat.
