How it Works

If your dog is exhibiting any illness symptoms, please reschedule your appointment for the health and safety of all dogs. I do sanitize all tools and grooming areas between appointments and use a UV light sanitation every evening. However, it is possible that your dog may come in contact with the previous or following dog. 

I am now offering Curbside PICK UP & DELIVERY! if you'd like this feature, please text "HERE" to (775)813-0902 when you arrive, I will be out within 5 min or send you a text. Please have all dogs on a secure collar/harness and leash. You are more than welcome to continue coming into the shop as well.

Appointment times

• All dogs must have current rabies vaccinations. Please take a photo of records and text to (775) 813-0902.
  
  
• I do not take separate nail clipping appointments, as it interferes with my one-on-one scheduled grooming appointments.  However, all services include nails trimmed and filed ( if they can be safely preformed on your dog)
  
  
• Please know that I will not brush through matting and knots as it can be very painful for your dog. Any matting will be shaved underneath - it is the kindest and safest way to groom your dog.
  
  
• My timing schedule is very delicate, I must stress that you do not come in the gates before your appointment time, even if 5 min early - nor before your 20 min notice of completion. Entering the shop when not expected can result in injury. This is for every dog's safety and comfort, please adhere to your appointment times and pick-up notices.

• Please note that my patio is NOT a waiting area, the dogs can hear you out there and it is distracting. Thank you for your understanding.

• Please communicate via text. I will not be able to answer phone calls during the workday.

• By appointment only, no drop-bys or walk-ins at any time!

• If you're unable to get an appointment for your preferred date/time, please book an appointment regardless and text (775) 813-0902 in order to get on my cancellation list.

• I DO utilize this list greatly, you will likely be able to get in when someone else cancels.

• Pick-up times are not definite, as grooming is variable. I do give an estimate and always give a 20-minute text notification. This is for your dogs’ safety and comfort.

• The shop is small, so please be courteous of the space and limit guests. Please do not have more than two people at drop off and pick up.

• Please do not stay at the shop during your dog’s appointment. Again, this is for your dog’s comfort and safety.

• Please let me know of any allergies, injuries, or special needs.

• Keeping my appointments to one dog  at a time (two if same owner) is very important to me. I try very hard to keep PawSpa a safe and comfortable environment to groom your dog.
